Kimon Phitidis, Managing Director
Kimon started Social Innovations in 2003 and has led the development and implementation of social investment strategies and programmes for many companies since then. He previously consulted on reputation management and communications to organisations in South Africa and Europe. He brings to the company a strong understanding of how companies can contribute to strengthening education in communities of their choice, while building reputation and brand.
Amanda Zulu, Programme Co-ordinator
Amanda turns the cogs that keep our programmes going. She co-ordinates the day-to-day-activities of the social investment programmes that we manage and drives the indicators that we track to ensure that our programmes deliver a social return. Before joining Social Innovations in 2016 Amanda worked as a manager and administrator in various organisations.
Bahieja Gabier, Systems Support
Bahieja has previously worked as the Social Innovations programme coordinator and now supports the development of our programmes materials and systems. She was previously a programme associate with the National Youth Development Agency.
Jonathan Mccann, accountant
Jonathan manages Social Innovations accounts, invoicing and financial administration. He is contracted into Social Innovations from Mavericks Accountants.
Sibongile Nkosi, Programme Mentor
Sibongile is a programme mentor in the Gauteng region. She also works as an HOD at St. Davids Marist Brothers, Inanda.
Diane Favis, Programme mentor and trainer
Diane is a programme mentor in the Gauteng region and a teacher trainer nationally. She has worked for many years as a teacher trainer, reading support specialist and academic materials developer before joining Social Innovations.
Jane Matthee, Programme mentor
Jane is a programme mentor in the Western Cape. She was previously an academy manager with our PEP Academy programme. Jane also works as an HOD at Tygersig Primary in Tygersig, Cape Town.
Irene Lubbe, Programme mentor and trainer
Irene is a programme mentor and trainer in the Free State region. She also works as n HOD at St. Andrews Primary, Bloemfontein, and is currently completing her Masters degree at the Education Faculty of the University of the Free State.
Mary-Jane Dallas, Programme mentor
Mary-Jane is our programme mentor in the KZN region. She has worked in the education sector for many years and retired as a school principal in 2012.
